Spring Lecture: A Better World is Possible
Join Metcalf Institute for a conversation with Meera Subramanian, award-winning environmental journalist and a 2012 Metcalf alum, about her latest book, A Better World Is Possible: Global Youth Confront the Climate Crisis. Moderated by 2015 Metcalf alum Elizabeth Rush, author of The Quickening: Antarctica, Motherhood and Cultivating Hope in a Warming World and Rising: Dispatches from the New American Shore.
The free event, which launches Metcalf’s 2026 Annual Public Lecture Series and is open to the public, will take place at the University of Rhode Island’s Kingston campus.
