This November, Newport is once again gathering nearly 100 of its fun and festive boutiques, restaurants, and businesses to launch ThamesGiving—a month-long celebration that will take place every weekend, starting on Nov. 8. The event is named after the busy commercial, shopping, and dining artery at the heart of Newport life, serving both visitors and residents alike. The “giving” aspect of the name embodies the spirit of the event: during this season of giving, Newport businesses are coming together to give back to their customers and beloved community in fun, creative, and meaningful ways. This year, in addition to hosting an interactive scavenger hunt linked to prizes, a local artisan market, and dog parade will also be included, along with many other exciting surprises!
