Dec. 1 Holiday Open Houses at the historical Governor Sprague Mansion Museum and colonial Joy Homestead, Cranston.  The Cranston Historical Society has graciously opened the Sprague Mansion & Joy Homestead to the community at no charge for decades ~ our way to say thank you, share some kindred warmth & welcome our visitors from near and afar.  Pianist Andrew Kaplan to provide musical selections at the Mansion. Western Cranston Garden Club decorates the Mansion in Victorian splendor ~ Museum Shop open.  Accessible entrance/parking back of Mansion.

AGENDA on DECEMBER 1

11am to 1pm JOY HOMESTEAD at 156 Scituate Ave. 

3 to 5pm In the SPRAGUE MANSION: Enter at 1353 Cranston St. grand ballroom door. Music and wassail ~ Visit Museum Shop.

4pm Greetings: City of Cranston; Secretary of State Gregg Amore; Honored Guests

 4:30pm Outside Tree Lighting: Sponsored by Ward 3 Councilman John Donegan; Special Guests. Bain Choir & Band Members providing holiday tunes at Mansion Gazebo! Visit Sprague Carriage House for cocoa provided by teachers/parents; Visit OneCranston Health Equity Zone & Cranston Public Library info tables.
