The RI Hospitality Education Foundation’s De-Escalation Training is a high-impact, virtual program designed to prepare Rhode Island’s hospitality teams on how to successfully mitigate issues that could arise from the expected increase in tourism traffic for the FIFA World Cup 2026TM games. The curriculum covers essential safety skills, such as situational awareness, conflict de-escalation, and identifying red flags to prevent workplace violence. Participants will gain the confidence needed to maintain a safe, welcoming environment and effectively manage high-pressure customer interactions
during major events.
