Relay For Life of Greater Providence
Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event that supports the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission — funding cancer research, patient services, and advocacy.
At Relay:
- Teams walk or run in shifts to symbolize that cancer never stops.
- Survivors and caregivers are honored with a celebratory Survivor Lap.
- A Luminaria Ceremony lights the night in memory of loved ones lost and in honor of those still fighting.
- Teams fundraise through donations, sponsorships, and on-site activities.
- The event blends celebration, remembrance, and community spirit.
We encourage the community to create a team and fundraise, but the event is free and open to all, with no registration required to attend.
