MAE NEW YORK SPRING / SUMMER TRUNK SHOW

MAE New York is a luxury womenswear collection founded by Sara Ettinger in 2020. MAE believes in supporting and revitalizing the historic New York garment district by creating small batch and made to order collections that highlight the tailoring and craftsmanship of the artisans of the district. Their design approach is a modern interpretation of 1960s glamour with a love of color and a focus on luxury construction and tailoring. Jessica Hagen states, “I met Sara at an art event in New York and immediately complimented her on how beautiful her clothing was.” states Jessica Hagen. “I knew instantly that we should bring her collection to Newport. The fabric, tailoring and stratospheric level of MAE’s designs absolutely elevate fashion to an artform.” Jessica Hagen Fine Art + Design was founded in 2005 and features contemporary art including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, textiles, and jewelry. Located in the historic Point section of Newport, the gallery’s summer hours are Wednesday- Saturday 11:00- 5:00 and Sunday 12:00- 5:00. The gallery is open by appointment Monday through Wednesday.
