Grief is more common than we expect. You will not find a human on this earth who has not experienced grief, including yourself. Come learn the theories, types, stages, myths, triggers, and techniques you can use to assist your clients, as well as yourself. When it comes to grief, especially during the holidays, many clients struggle. What better time of year to debunk grief myths, learn strategies, coping methods, interpersonal boundary setting, self-assertion skills, self-care, and self-preservation techniques? You will be able to put these skills and techniques into practice with clients, family, friends, and yourself, starting the moment you leave this seminar. Teach your clients, family members, and yourself to survive not only the holidays but the everyday moments while experiencing any type of grief. Resources will be provided as well as handouts for take home opportunities to put your learning into real-time practice.
