Weaving on a Rigid Heddle Loom Demonstation
Get a glimpse of what is in store for people who sign up for a 5-week course. It is possible to weave scarves, table runners, placemats, or towels. Looms and weaving equipment can be provided for a fee for future students.
Instructor Bio: Lisa Elliot comes from a family of artists. She received her BFA degree in
Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design and later completed four additional
semesters in weaving at UMass Dartmouth. After several years of weaving on her four-
harness floor loom, she discovered the joy of creating wearables and home accessories
on the simple rigid heddle loom.
