July 3rd:Summer Sound Series Concert - Purchase St. Stage
AUTUMN DRIVE and MORRISSEY BLVD will be performing on the Purchase St. Stage beginning at a special start time of 6 PM.
In addition to the restaurants popping up outside to serve refreshments, Cirque de Light circus arts entertainers will be stilt-walking, juggling, and hula-hooping among the crowd. The music will conclude in time for everyone to gather at the bottom of Union Street for the City of New Bedford fireworks, which will be set to music.
The Summer Sound Series concerts are organized by AHA! New Bedford, presented by Mayor Jon Mitchell, and sponsored by Explore New Bedford, WPRI Channel 12, The Black Whale, Candela Cucina, National Club Mexican Cantina, The Whale’s Tail, and the New Bedford Light.
During Summer Sound Series concerts, free parking will be available at the YMCA, Elm Street Garage, and the Zeiterion Garage. All concerts are weather permitting. Details at ahanewbedford.org/summer-sound-series/
