CALL FOR ARTISTS: Kicking off our 30th-anniversary celebration, the Best of SouthCoast Artists Exhibition is an opportunity to honor the region’s artistic excellence and heritage, champion artists of all backgrounds who thrive creatively in the SouthCoast , and look ahead to our bright and creative future. ENTRY DEADLINE: 02.28.25 JURY DATES: 03.01.25 - 03.15.25 CASH PRIZES: $1000 First Place | $500 Second Place EXHIBITION: 06.06.25 - 08.24.25 HOW TO SUBMIT Entry fee: $40 for 5 images Additional $5 per image after your fifth image. (max 10 images) Application Requirements -All work must be original, designed, and created by the artist applicant -Works may be 2D or 3D -Work needs to arrive at the gallery ready to hang but framing is not required. Magnets, clips, and other methods can be used. -There is no size restriction for this exhibition. -All submissions must be from artists who are residents of the Massachusetts and Rhode Island South Coast region. Eligibility Criteria Artists are encouraged to apply. New Bedford Art Museum values the arts as a universal language and recognizes it is crucial to be an organization that integrates equity, diversity, inclusion, and access into everything we do.
