Winter Lectures in the Belmont Chapel

Join us for one or more of the winter lectures in the Belmont Chapel. Each topic will be presented on a Thursday and a Sunday. Hear about remarkable people (many buried in Island Cemetery) with Newport connections.
Tickets are $15 for each lecture or $50 for the series (4 lectures). Copies of the book “Discover Island Cemetery: Notable People and Monuments from the Gilded Age to Modern Times” can also be purchased in the chapel. The hour-long lectures will be presented by Trudy and Lew Keen, authors of the book, and Zach Russell from Preserve Rhode Island and a Salve graduate. All proceeds from tickets and book sales benefit the Island Cemetery.
