VANCOUVER MALL INVITES GUESTS TO SHARE EXCESS HALLOWEEN CANDY WITH AMERICAN TROOPS AND VETERANS

Throughout the month of November, Vancouver Mall, a lifestyle shopping center providing shopping, dining, entertainment and a host of services to residents of Southwest Washington and the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area (www.ShopVancouverMall.com), will be an official drop-off site for candy to support the Soldiers’ Angels Treats for Troops program. The program collects excess Halloween candy and ships it to deployed service members around the world for a sweet treat from home. Volunteers from the organization also distribute candy to veteran patients in VA hospitals nationwide. The program is a wonderful way to remind current servicemen and servicewomen, as well as the country’s veterans, that they are valued and remembered as the holiday season approaches, and that the patrons of Vancouver Mall are thankful for their service and sacrifice. Donation bins will be located in the MyPerks Lounge (on Level 2, near Vans) during regular mall hours.
