In our 80’s adaptation of the famous play, King Duncan is Duncan King, the over the hill lead singer of the band “Something Wicked.” Macbeth, a back up vocalist for the band, and wannabe star, and his ambitious wife Lady M plot to take over the band and boot Duncan out, by any means necessary. The plot thickens as Macbeth meets a strange goth rock band called “The Weird Sisters” who give him a slew of cryptic prophecies that are the catalyst for all of Macbeth and Lady M’s evil doings. Rated PG-10 for some light swearing, a sexy dance number, excessive spandex, and staged violence. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
