Local Historian Sig Unander presents the story of Claire Phillips, the Portland stage actress turned nightclub owner, spy, and savior of American prisoners of war in the occupied Philippines during World War II. Join us in the Hall of Valor as Unander dives into Phillips’ world of fake identities, espionage, revenge, and resistance. Weather permitting, the Historic Park will be open after the presentation for visitors to explore.
