Tag! Queer Shorts Festival is back at the historic Hollywood Theatre on April 5-6 with an all-new program of 42 original short films made exclusively by LGBTQIA2S+ directors. The theme for the 2025 festival is CREATE, GATHER, RESIST, pointing to ways that queer people can respond to the ongoing targeting of transgender and other members of our communities. Curated program blocks featuring a mix of animation, music video, narrative fiction, documentary, and experimental shorts begin at 3pm and 5pm each day and include discussion time with directors in attendance. Tag! is excited to offer a collection of work by Oregon, Washington, and BC creators at 5pm on April 5 and, for the first time, a complete block from Spanish and Latin American directors at 3pm on April 6. All Tag! screenings are presented with open captions in English.
