FVRL Foundation's Authors & Illustrators Dinner & Silent Auction, October 17, Hilton Vancouver
Bestselling author Laura Dave will be the keynote speaker at Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation’s 22nd Authors & Illustrators Dinner & Silent Auction fundraiser at the Hilton Vancouver Washington on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Laura Dave is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Last Thing He Told Me; Eight Hundred Grapes; Hello, Sunshine; and other novels. Her books have been published in thirty-eight countries and have been chosen by Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club, Indie Next, Book of the Month Club, Best of Amazon, Best of Apple Books, and more. The Last Thing He Told Me was Goodreads’ Mystery and Thriller of the Year for 2021 and is currently a limited series on Apple TV+.
The Authors & Illustrators Dinner & Silent Auction—FVRL Foundation’s signature fundraiser—features a silent auction, dinner, author presentation, and VIP reception with the speaker. Previous keynote speakers have included Brad Meltzer, Rebecca Skloot, Craig Johnson, Maria Semple, Susan Orlean, and David Baldacci. Proceeds from this fundraiser help FVRL Foundation support the services offered by FVRLibraries, including programs that enhance reading skills, provide access to information, promote community engagement, and educate and entertain—helping people of all ages learn, grow, and succeed.
The 2024 Authors & Illustrators Dinner & Silent Auction will be held on Thursday, October 17, at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets to this event are $120 each. There are also a limited number of tickets available for a private reception with Laura Dave for $30 per person.
