A Creative Festival for Readers, Writers & Storytellers
The Northwest Book Fair & Media Fest returns in July 2026, now hosted at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington. This free, family-friendly festival brings together Pacific Northwest authors, independent publishers, media creators, educators, and community organizations for a full day of inspiration, creativity, and connection.
Discover new books, meet local authors, enjoy live readings, and explore hands-on workshops designed for writers, readers, families, and emerging creators. The event also highlights the growing world of community media with podcast demonstrations, author interviews, and opportunities to learn about storytelling across audio, digital, and print.
Families will enjoy the Kids’ Story Corner, offering crafts, read-alouds, and creative activities throughout the day. Visitors can browse vendor tables, talk with creators, join interactive sessions, and learn from professionals in writing, publishing, and media. Food trucks and small local businesses will also be on-site to make the day festive and welcoming.
Our move to Clark College allows us to expand author tables, offer more workshops, and provide improved accessibility and parking for attendees of all ages. Whether you’re a book lover, a writer, a media creator, or simply curious about the literary culture of the Pacific Northwest, this event offers something for everyone.
Admission is free. A full author list and workshop schedule will be announced in spring 2026.
