People of the Drum
People of the Drum is a free community concert featuring four drumming groups from different cultural traditions. The event is free and will take place Sunday June 7th in downtown Portland on SW Main next to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. This family-friendly event features live music, drumming and dance workshops. Scheduled performers include: Mexica Tiahui, Oregon Korean Performing Arts, Alex Addy & Woshishijee and Portland Taiko.
This event is supported by the City of Portland Office of Arts & Culture and the Arts Access Fund.
