Treasure Coast Comm. Chamber Singers, Children, Soloists, and Orchestra Present MASS OF THE CHILDREN
Mr. Rutter is a master at exploring voices and sounds to give the listener a variety of experiences when listening to his music. In the Mass of the Children, Rutter utilizes children's voices in contrast to adults' in presenting what is normally a standard Mass. The lightness of the children's voices produces a "sweetness" that most masses do not feel.
The Chamber Singers is an audition group that focuses on more rigorous musical selections, usually consisting of classical works by composers such as Mozart, Handel, Rutter, and many more.
The Middle School Chorus (grades 6 - 8) provides young students who love to sing the opportunity to improve vocal skills and expand their knowledge of music theory.
