Manatee Center 5K, One-Mile, and Kids Run
Join us for the annual Manatee Center 5K, a fun-filled event supporting the Friends of the Manatee Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing environmental education and promoting conservation of the Indian River Lagoon and its ecosystems. This family-friendly fundraiser offers something for everyone, no matter your fitness level!
Race Options:
Timed 5K Run: Challenge yourself on a UATF-certified course that takes you through the heart of downtown Fort Pierce, across the scenic South Bridge, and along the beautiful Indian River Lagoon.
Untimed One-Mile Walk: A relaxed option for participants of all ages.
Kids' Fun Run: An out-and-back course where children can run alongside Moe the Manatee!
Perks for Participants:
π The first 250 5K participants will receive a custom finisher medal.
π Register by February 28, 2025, to guarantee a tech shirt.
π All participants will receive a raffle ticket for prizes, including local gift certificates, beer baskets, and other goodies!

Kids participating in the fun run will receive a kids' medal.
Awards for the Timed 5K:
Overall Awards for male, female, and masters winners.
Age Group Awards for the top three finishers in each 10-year bracket (male/female).

Location: Manatee Center, Historic Downtown Fort Pierce.
About the Course:
The UATF-certified 5K course offers a mix of vibrant downtown scenery and waterfront views. Starting at the Manatee Center, participants will run through historic streets, cross the iconic South Bridge for breathtaking vistas of the lagoon, and finish along the serene Indian River Lagoon.
