PLEASE SHARE - It is time to step up for the man who stepped up for so many of us. Ron Corbin needs our help. Ron Corbin, the founder of OPUS (Outstanding People United to Sing) at Martin County High School was so much more than a music teacher. He was a father figure, role model and mentor for so many of us that were otherwise rudderless. He instilled not only his love for music in his students, but also his work ethic, integrity, and dedication to excellence. The last several years, Mr. Corbin has been struggling with his health and is now requiring at-home care. In fact, just this week there was another health crisis making it more apparent that having around the clock care is vital for his safety and wellbeing. Retiring on only a high school teacher’s pay does not afford such luxuries.
This is where we come in!
A trust has been established to help provide quality care at Mr. Corbin’s home. Please consider joining us on March 30th at Memorial Park in Stuart for a special concert event in Mr. Corbin’s honor. Proud alumni of OPUS will be uniting to sing in his honor. We must raise money to help offset Mr. Corbin‘s medical cost. If you cannot attend the event, would you please consider donating using the QR code in the flier or the link below? Any amount will make a difference. I humbly thank you for your consideration.
