Pittsburgh Vision Zero Summit


Traffic fatalities across the U.S. are on the rise, with people walking and biking making up the highest percentage of victims. In March of 2024, the City of Pittsburgh committed to Vision Zero - a policy focused on ending traffic fatalities and serious injuries - and there's work to do to achieve this vision. Announcing: the Pittsburgh Vision Zero Summit - A one-day conference bringing together local leaders, advocates, and agencies, hosted by BikePGH and the City of Pittsburgh on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the University of Pittsburgh. Participants will learn about the principles of Vision Zero and share plans, policies, and progress made in their sectors. It will also provide networking opportunities with the hope of kickstarting greater collaboration to save lives on our streets and roadways.
