Making our Democracy Work Well for Everyone
PA is the most important swing state in the nation, what we do in PA matters!
“Our nation (was), conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal”. Today our democracy is not functioning as we envisioned it should. Please come and learn why.
Invite a friend or maybe that relative who sees things differently than you. This is for people of every political persuasion. Or, bring the whole family. Childcare is available for the little ones and teens will know more than their teacher after attending.

Every 10 years states redraw their legislative and congressional voting district lines after the new census. Gerrymandering is when a few political leaders draw voting districts that favor candidates they (or their big donors) want to win and disfavor those they want to lose. Political leaders pick voters not just for themselves, but for each legislator in the state. Then, political leaders pass rules to make rank and file legislators cede their power to the leaders, making your legislators much less effective.
Everyone is harmed by gerrymandering and unfair rules.
Fair Districts PA* is working to amend the constitution to have an independent citizens group draw the districts – giving the power to us, the people. And working on rules to make all legislators more effective.
