Music for Exhibitions: Art and Music of Scandinavia
Musical works will be paired with selected artworks that share fascinating and common characteristics of sound and image that capture the unique spirit of Nordic culture. Musicians from the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will perform music of Grieg, Sibelius and Nielsen, among others. Ticket price includes the concert, post-performance meet-and-greet with the musicians, exclusive after-hours access to the exhibition galleries, and a glass of wine (21+) and lite bites.
Advance registration and pre-payment strongly recommended. Walkups available as space permits.
