Pittsburgh Playhouse Fall Fest

The Pittsburgh Playhouse Fall Fest will offer several autumn-themed festivities including food, drinks, games, crafts, live music by local band The Hauntones, live action characters, tarot card readings, a commissioned fall mural for Instagram photos by Pittsburgh-based muralist Cara Rossetti, a “pop-up” Halloween-themed bar with specialty cocktails and a family-friendly Halloween Show titled Boo’s Halloween House Party. On weekends during the run of Fall Fast, Forbes Avenue will be closed for pedestrian traffic allowing visitors to enjoy local vendors and activities – this first fall festival of its kind in Downtown Pittsburgh. A staple of the Fall Fest will be Pittsburgh Playhouse’s Halloween show, Boo's Halloween House Party, conceived and directed by Point Park University alumnus Ahmad Simmons, and written by Simmons and Lazlo Graves. This magical performance features a spellbinding array of classic Halloween musical hits performed by a cast of whimsical characters that will delight children, adults, ghosts and ghouls of all ages. The show will run at various times throughout the festival with evening and daytime showtimes so everyone can enjoy this delightfully ghostly tale. Entrance to the Fall Fest is free with special packages and VIP tickets to performances of 'Boo's Halloween House Party' and our VIP pop-up bar!
