Visitors will get to experience Pittsburgh’s newest light installation as it begins to shine for the first time. Princesses from the frosty realms of northern Europe will make an appearance and ice sculptors will transform blocks of ice into breathtaking masterpieces. Carolers will serenade visitors and live music will fill the air as the Holiday Season officially begins in Downtown Pittsburgh. Mellon Square District restaurants will be warming up revelers throughout the night with seasonal offerings. TALIA will be popping up a Cocoa & Cannolis concept at the Mellon Square Hot Cocoa Cart, featuring house made cannolis and other sweets, hot cocoa with an Italian twist. Ritual House will be popping up the Ritual House Holiday Bar and debuting glowing cocktails inspired by Aurora and seasonal offerings for all ages. Ritual House’s glowing offerings will also be on the whimsical restaurant’s menu all season long, with a portion of sales benefiting the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. The Holly Trolley will welcome its first riders of the season with free and festive rides from festivities in Mellon Square to Market Square to the Cultural District and back again.
