The Gift of the Magi

It is Christmas in New York, and for two young lovers, Jim and Della, who are out of work and penniless, the prospects are bleak. But their dilemma is solved when both part with their most precious possessions to buy presents for each other, and for one magical moment, they experience an aura of warmth and giving in the cold, impersonal winter city.
