This workshop is designed to create a safe and supportive space for BIPOC individuals to explore the connection between trauma and the body. Through somatic exercises, participants will learn how trauma is stored in the body and how to release that tension through breathwork, movement, and mindfulness techniques. By focusing on the body’s natural responses, this workshop helps participants reconnect with their inner strength and regain a sense of empowerment.
The workshop will be led by experienced facilitator Brittany Steiner, LPC who has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by BIPOC communities, offering culturally informed techniques that acknowledge the history of trauma and resilience in these groups. Participants will gain tools to help them process emotional pain, reduce stress, and heal from past experiences in a way that respects their cultural identity.
We’ll end with a short soothing session in our Salt Cave to promote deep relaxation and a profound sense of well-being.
