Hosted by Chatham Baroque, a period ensemble group that connects audiences to the passion, breadth, and depth of the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, and Early Classical periods through live performances. The sessions will be led by the group’s artistic directors—Andrew Fouts (violin), Patricia Halverson (viola da gamba), and Scott Pauley (theorbo). A number of special guests will be featured throughout the season, including soprano Pascale Beaudin, and Paul Miller, with stories, dancing, and activities led by Kindermusik instructor Lynda Wingerd.
Chatham Baroque’s Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions are informal concerts, about 45 minutes in length, designed specifically for preschoolers and their accompanying grownups. Extending through May 2026, this series of lively, interactive programs invites children to explore Baroque and traditional music through storytelling, movement, and hands-on fun.
