Ever wanted to see a superpowered battle in a hot dog shop? The fur flies on Friday, when the virtuous Etherea and Arctica battle the brutal Industria inside the legendary Frankie's Extra Long. And that's just one of three pulse-pounding adventures in "Crushed by the Wheels of Industry", the 25th and latest episode of Heroineburgh, the ongoing superheroine saga produced entirely in Pittsburgh in both live-action TV series and comic book formats. Thrills and chills commence at 7 pm ($5 admission) on April 18 at Bantha Tear Bar, 5002 Penn Avenue in Garfield (parental discretion advised). Fans will also get to meet the young gadgeteer villainess, Peccadilla, in her full outfit. Good doesn't always triumph, but the costumes always get a workout!
