Join us Friday, April 17, for a powerful night of truth, grit, and global resilience at our monthly Open Mic. This month, we are centering the art of storytelling, though all performance styles (poetry, music, and more) are welcome!

Brandon Thompson (Cure Violence East): Brandon will perform a live reading from his new book, The Pain Behind the Smile, offering a raw, poetic journey through the heartbreak and triumph of urban life.
Ann Fridah Athieno: Hear the incredible story of the first woman from her Ugandan village to earn a Master’s degree and her work as the founder of JOGEI, an NGO empowering girls through education.
