Beginning January 17, 2026, Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, located at 3830 N. Marshall Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, will present Curt Walters: Resilience, an exhibition showcasing 20 exceptional paintings by renowned artist Curt Walters, widely regarded as the greatest living painter of the Grand Canyon. Featuring works created from the 1980s to the present, the exhibition highlights the breadth, vision, and technical mastery that have defined Walters’ five-decade career capturing one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. From intimate studies to monumental canvases, the selected works reveal Walters’ profound understanding of light, geology, scale, and the ever-changing moods of the American Southwest. The exhibition coincides with the publication of Walters’ new book, Reliance: The Life History and Grand Canyon Art of Curt Walters, offering visitors a comprehensive look at the artist’s enduring legacy.
