Title: A Wayne Family Affair: Big Jake on the Big Screen at Western Spirit Museum
Join Western Spirit Museum: Scottsdale's Museum of the West for a special screening of Big Jake (1971), part of the museum's Still in the Saddle exhibition and film series. Starring John Wayne as a determined rancher on a mission to rescue his kidnapped grandson, the film features a unique Wayne family connection with Patrick Wayne and Ethan Wayne appearing alongside their famous father. Following the screening, Chief Curator Dr. Andrew Patrick Nelson will lead a discussion exploring the film's significance and lasting impact on Western cinema. Rated PG-13, the film runs 1 hour and 50 minutes. Admission is free for museum members and included with museum admission. Program-only tickets are available for $10.
