It’s back! Our beloved cheesy comedy night returns to the Shea Cheese Lounge for a Valentine’s Day Spectacular!
As the night unfolds, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting experience woven seamlessly into the comedy. Each performer takes the stage alongside a featured cheese, giving you the chance to laugh, snack, and discover how humor and dairy can hit the same delightful notes.
Your host for the evening is Raj Sivaraman, whose comedy has been featured in The New York Times and who has written for Comedy Central. Raj’s style has been described as a “good palate cleanser”—smart, measured, and refreshing—which makes him the perfect guide to lead you through the night and prepare your taste buds (and your funny bone) for what’s to come.
Jetuan Whedon brings sharp, high-energy comedy rooted in observation, clever wordplay, and bursts of chaotic charm. Her set is paired with Geotrichum cheese, a soft, tangy, gently funky cheese that feels a little wild at first but ultimately smooth and comforting. Think unexpected edge with a cozy finish—much like Jetuan’s comedy itself.
Genevieve Rice is known for smart, affable comedy that sneaks sharp insights into warm, relatable storytelling. She’s paired with mustard seed gouda, a creamy, mild cheese punctuated by pops of tangy mustard seed. Like a middle school dance, this pairing is mostly innocent, with just a few naughty notes hiding beneath the surface.
Manny Hernandez delivers an easygoing, confident presence, blending personal stories with crowd-pleasing warmth. His pairing is smoked mozzarella—a rich, supple cheese with an instant smokiness that feels like settling in next to a crackling fire. The vibe is pure comfort: the comedic equivalent of Netflix and chill.
Jackie Tinsley closes out the night with fearless, direct comedy driven by strong opinions and unapologetic punchlines. Jackie is paired with Red Rock Cheddar, a sharp, crumbly cheddar with a spicy kick. It’s a bold finish that brings the heat, but not so much that it scares off your date.
Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the show starts at 7:00 PM.
