Harpist Jocelyn Obermeyer will join us on many favorites! Song titles include Carol of the Drum, Deck the Halls, Its Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas, Carol of the Bells, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and traditional closer; the Hallelujah Chorus.
Contemporary choral works feature: a new commissioned work from Mary Ellen Loose, Celestial Symphony, with harp and baritone soloist, as well as Eric Whitacre's Glow, and Morton Lauridsen's O Magnum Mysterium. We also have folk and traditional songs such as A la Nanita Nana, Ocho Kandelikas for Hanukkah, the Appalachian Star in the East, and Irish Carol by Arizona composer Linda Spevacek.
