Free Valentine’s Concert in Scottsdale by the Women's Orchestra of Arizona


The Women's Orchestra of Arizona (WOA) invites you to a romantic afternoon of music that celebrates love, passion, and romance. Join us on Sunday, February 2, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM, at the North Scottsdale United Methodist Church for an inspiring performance that blends classical masterpieces with cinematic favorites. This romantic program will feature the remarkable talent of Rose Wodarcyk performing the first movement of Rebecca Clarke's distinctive Viola Concerto. A pioneering work by one of the 20th century's most notable female composers, the concerto's evocative melodies and lush harmonies are sure to captivate audiences. Ms. Wodarcyk is a violist and educator based in Phoenix, Arizona. In June 2024, she joined the Tetra String Quartet, a nonprofit organization that serves the community and empowers the next generation through performing and teaching chamber music. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Peabody Conservatory, where she studied with Victoria Chiang.
