A Wintry Christmas
, "We are very excited to present the second concert of our season titled “A Tapestry of Time and Tone”. The theme of our December concert is a “Wintry Christmas”, including many holiday favorites that will paint a chilly holiday setting for the audience. The concert will open with a performance of the iconic first movement from Antonio Vivaldi’s “Winter” from his Four Seasons concerto. Our associate concertmaster Melinda Wang will be the featured soloist. We will also be featuring an octet of soloists from North Valley Chorale who will provide the vocal harmonies to songs like “Let It Snow”, “Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”, and “Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas!” from Home Alone. We are also very proud to present six members from our Youth Orchestra program who will join in the performance of Russian Christmas Music. These students are exceptional musicians that we are providing the opportunity to expand their artistic experience by joining our adult orchestra in the performance of this exciting piece. The concert is a well-rounded program that has something for everyone in attendance to enjoy!”
