Meditation with Movement 6-Week Class
Experience the health benefits of the Centuries-old practices of Qigong and T’ai Chi. These exercise systems, based on Chinese martial and healing arts, engage the body and mind in slow, fluid movement and relaxed, full breathing. Often described as “meditation with movement," the relaxed breathing and gentle dance-like movements of T’ai Chi serve to calm the mind, leading to improved situational awareness and increased serenity, and invigorate the body while improving postural strength and stability, agility, and balance.
Class meets Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27 and Feb. 3 and 10, 2025
Fee: $60 for 6-week session. Pre-registration required.
