This year, COURSE is turning up the heat with an $190 eight-course Valentine’s Day aphrodisiac tasting menu (with the option to add wine pairings) by Chef Cory Oppold. Built around ingredients long associated with romance and indulgence, the menu leans unapologetically luxurious, opening with oysters crowned with caviar and grapefruit, followed by bigeye tuna with pomegranate and hibiscus, langoustine with asparagus and black garlic, Chilean seabass with artichoke and soppressata, and a Copperstate Ranch ribeye finished with demi-glace. The experience ends on a seductive note with layered chocolate desserts, champagne, and a nostalgic “Cherry Cordial” mignardise... because restraint is overrated.
Designed to linger and unfold, the aphrodisiac Valentine’s Day menu is available for a limited three-night run Feb. 12-14 from 5-9 p.m. Reservations are required.
