Cancer Support Community Arizona invites individuals and families to attend “Facing the Future: An Educational Panel on End-of-Life Preparations” on Thursday, March 19 at 12 p.m.
This informative and compassionate panel discussion is designed to support individuals navigating cancer and their loved ones through the often-overwhelming process of end-of-life planning. The session will feature expert insights from:
David Kaminsky, Chaplain at Hospice of the Valley
Emily Taylor, Attorney specializing in Estate Planning and Special Needs
Trish Kerr, Owner of Hansen Mortuaries & Cemetery
Topics will include spiritual and emotional support during the end-of-life journey, legal preparations such as advance directives, wills, and power of attorney, and practical planning for final arrangements and what to expect from funeral or memorial services.
Whether you are living with cancer, supporting a loved one, or simply want to better understand the process, this panel offers a safe, respectful space to ask questions, gain clarity, and find peace of mind.
The event is free and offered both in person (Building C at the Palm Lane Campus) and virtually. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided for in-person attendees. Registration is required.
