Attendees are in for an evening of high-speed adrenaline when the Major League Drone Racing (MLDR) Open Class competition kicks off at 6 p.m. at the ASU Prep Downtown Phoenix campus. MLDR Open Class World Champion Will Hattar will defend his title against six elite pilots flying in from across the country to compete.
Additional highlights of the annual winter celebration include food trucks for attendees to purchase food, bounce houses, winter-themed arts and crafts, face painting, a photobooth and chances to win raffle prizes for attendees who pre-register.
The free neighborhood event is open to local families, including those interested in exploring enrollment at ASU Prep’s Phoenix campus, one of 13 schools within the ASU Preparatory Academy network.
At ASU Prep, family involvement is key to students’ success, and hosting community events like “Let it Snow” brings families and the surrounding community together. This free community event offers families in the area an opportunity to explore the school, meet staff and experience some of the engaging educational activities that inspire children to excel in the classroom.
