Make a Difference at the 5th Annual Stacy Fuson Foundation Charity Poker Tournament


The Stacy Fuson Foundation - a volunteer driven organization that creates avenues for people with disabilities to be important and active members of the community - will hold its 5th Annual Stacy Fuson Foundation Charity Poker Tournament on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center located at 5031 East Washington Street, Phoenix, Arizona. The evening will include a red carpet, poker, prizes, philanthropy, cocktails, dinner, entertainment, and casino play including blackjack, craps, and roulette. “This event means so much to me,” said Stacy Fuson, Founder of the Stacy Fuson Foundation. “Each year we are able to bring more awareness and funding to support people with disabilities to be active. We’re looking forward to a fun evening!” Tickets for the 5th Annual Stacy Fuson Foundation Charity Poker Tournament are $250 for VIP Admission (limited availability), which includes an open bar, dinner, a seat in the poker tournament, and $500 in casino chips. General Admission is $150 and includes an open bar, dinner, and casino play. All final table players will receive prizes such as $2000 cash, $1,000 Dillard’s gift card, Elite Aesthetics package, poker seats, airline tickets, golf packages, visa gift cards, restaurant gift cards, , and more. A portion of the funds raised during the event will support women in sports programs at the Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center, including fitness programming, scholarships, golf outings, fishing, ski days, and more. Recently, The Stacy Fuson Foundation funded eight women from Team USA to travel and compete in the Women’s Cup 2025 Wheelchair Rugby tournament in Paris. Jen Chaillie, an Ability360 athlete, was on the team. Another example of her generosity is the Foundation provided funding for Ability360’s recent ski trip to Flagstaff. “My mother had a disability,” said Fuson. “Growing up I did many things to help her. I went to countless doctor appointments with her and saw first-hand the stress that a disability places on an individual and their families. I wanted to do something to help and that’s why I started the Foundation!” In addition, a portion of the proceeds also will benefit The One Step Closer Foundation (1SCF), a non-profit organization that improves the lives of people who have from cerebral palsy and various disabilities. Notables: Celebrities, playmates, comedians, and entertainers will be guests at the fundraiser. This year’s lineup includes: • RJ Mitte, an actor, advocate and philanthropist. He’s best known for his portrayal of Walter “Flynn” White Jr. for five riveting seasons of AMC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning dramatic thriller “BreakingBad”. • David Angelo Roman, is a Rick and Morty comic book artist under Adult Swim, Oni Press and Cryptozoic. He also created art for Lucas Film, Star Wars, The Walking Dead, Marvel Premier and Steven Universe under Topps, Upperdeck and Crypotozoic. • Andy Buckley, an actor from The Office and television series such as The League, CSI:Miami, NYPD Blue, The West Wing and Veep.
