ReThinc Rescue Rinse
On Saturday, April 18, 2026, ReThinc Advertising will host the 14th Annual Rescue Rinse, a charity dog wash benefiting a local no-kill animal rescue. Dog owners from across the Valley are invited to bring their pups from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a wash and towel dry at SOL Veterinary Animal Healing Center in Scottsdale.
Guests can enjoy a safe and welcoming environment featuring clean water, organic shampoo, treats for dogs and pet parents, community vendors, and more. All washes are donation-based, and a $20 donation will secure a special gift for participating pet owners.
This year’s event will benefit Desert Tails Shelter, a Scottsdale-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue that has been saving abandoned, neglected, and unwanted dogs since 2018. Operated entirely through volunteers and donor support, Desert Tails Shelter provides care, rehabilitation, and a safe haven for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments as they await their forever homes. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Rescue Rinse will be donated to Desert Tails Shelter.
In addition to the dog wash, attendees can participate in a silent auction featuring items generously donated by local businesses including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Rumors Salon, K O’Donnell’s Sports Bar, Candle Chemistry, As You Wish Pottery, WeKoPa Golf Club, and many more.
Guests can also shop and support dog-friendly vendors such as Freedom Dog Bandanas, Bodacious Dog Treats, and Shelter Dog Coffee. The Writer’s Block Mobile Coffee Truck will be on site from 9:00–11:00 AM, donating 100% of drink sales during that time to Desert Tails Shelter.
This year’s event marks the first time Rescue Rinse will be held offsite from ReThinc’s office, taking place at SOL Veterinary Animal Healing Center, a new veterinary facility located on Scottsdale Road just north of McDowell. The event also coincides with the facility’s grand opening in South Scottsdale.
“We’re excited to support this community event as a way to showcase our new veterinary care facility while also supporting a cause that is near and dear to our hearts,” said Ben Berriman, principal at SOL Veterinary.
Community members who cannot attend in person will still have the opportunity to participate by bidding on silent auction items online.
