The Sommelier Core Wine Course
Sundays, October 13th to December 1st from 1:30 pm – 6 pm
In the world of wine, there exists a course that beckons to both the curious novice and the seasoned enthusiast—the Sommelier Core Wine Course. This course, thoughtfully designed, merges our Foundation and Intermediate programs into one seamless experience, offering not only a thorough education but also the practicality of cost savings. Here, in a single semester, students immerse themselves in the vast and intricate landscape of wine.
**Course Highlights**
The journey begins with the Foundation portion, where students cultivate the art and science of wine tasting. They learn to discern the subtleties that distinguish one varietal from another, a skill that sets apart the true connoisseur. As they advance, they step into the Intermediate section, where the world of wine reveals its many layers—styles, climates, varietals—all stemming from the globe's most renowned wine-producing regions. This course is a fitting path for those aspiring to earn their sommelier qualifications, budding winemakers, or simply for those who seek to deepen their appreciation and understanding of wine. By the semester's end, students have the opportunity to earn their sommelier pin from the National Wine School, a symbol of their newfound expertise.
