Nearly 2,000 canines are guaranteed to bring smiles to visitors of the Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s National Dog Show, happening live Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, 100 Station Avenue, Oaks, Pennsylvania, prior to its annual broadcast on NBC Thanksgiving Day from 12-2 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for ages 3-11, with three-and-under admitted free plus free parking in the expansive Expo Center lots. For tickets, visit nds.nationaldogshow.com.
The all-day schedule prevails with doors opening at 8 a.m. and Best In Show slated for 6 p.m. on Saturday, approximately 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The only “benched” show in America promises to get families up close to 180-plus breeds, including the American Kennel Club newly-authorized breed, the Lancashire Heeler, a herding dog with the unusual attribute of being able to smile.
