Wilmington Rowing Center Santa Row
Come to the Riverfront to enjoy watching a parade of rowers and rowing shells decked out in creative holiday costumes passing by. The event takes place Saturday, December 7th at 10 am directly in front of the Riverfront walkway on the Christina River. This event is a fundraiser for the Ministry of Caring, a non-profit assisting Wilmington residents with food, housing, health care and more (www.ministryofcaring.org). We are also conducting a toy drive for the Stop the Violence Prayer Chain Foundation that serves New Castle County Delaware’s youth in need and their families by providing food, clothes, school supplies, education, life skills, educational trips, and social services (www.prayerchainfoundation.org). You are also welcome to join us across the river at 501A street at 11 am to see costumes up close, make a donation, or bring an unwrapped toy for the drive.
