Moonlight Over the Delaware - New Hope Historical Society's Annual Gala
New Hope Historical Society's annual gala, Moonlight Over the Delaware, takes place Monday, August 31, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at River House at Odette’s.
The evening will honor Dan Brooks, founder of New Hope Celebrates, and bring together community members, business leaders and supporters of New Hope’s history.
Guests will enjoy an open bar and an elevated menu generously provided by Odette’s. Silent and live auctions will feature distinctive experiences, including a private chef dinner with a sommelier, an insider’s tour of the New York City art market, luxury skincare and nonsurgical treatment experiences, and original artwork.
Acclaimed artist Alex Volkov will create an original painting live during the gala. His painting process will also be streamed for patrons who are unable to attend, extending the experience beyond the room.
Funds raised through Moonlight Over the Delaware will support the preservation and digitization of the New Hope Gazette archives, an irreplaceable collection of photographs, stories and records documenting the people, places and moments that have shaped the town.
