Sherri Warner Hunter, author and mixed media artist who is known for her large-scale public commissions and community projects, will be back at TileWorks to teach a 5-day workshop using two of her favorite techniques for creating concrete forms. Students will carve foam forms to create their totem elements or finials. They will also carve concrete to create a sturdy base. Working in ‘concrete time,’ they move from one technique to the other.
