National Wreaths Across America- Wreath placement
VFW Post 175 (Doylestown) will coordinate local participation in placing Remberance Wreaths at the grves of over 1,300 hundred Veterans interred at this cemetery. These gravesites date back to the Revolutionary War. More than four million volunteers will gather at over 4,909 locations in all 50 states to remember and honor our Nation's Veterans. Sponsor a wreath in honor of or in memory of a Veteran of our armed forces. The Veterans of Foreign Wars traces its roots back to 1899 when Veterans of the Spanish-American War and the Philipine Insurection founded local organizations to secure rights and bennefits for their service. Today, membership consists of more than 1.4 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliary.
