Join us and Common Press at the University of Pennsylvania for a unique, hands-on tribute to the man who gave the Declaration of Independence its first physical form. On Sunday, August 2, we are gathering at the historic gravesite of John Dunlap, the official printer to the Continental Congress, for a special typographic celebration.

In honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of Dunlap’s monumental "broadside" printing, the Common Press will be onsite with two portable printing presses.

Whether you’re a history buff, a design enthusiast, or just curious about the craft, this is your chance to step back in time, see demonstrations up close, and honor a Philadelphia patriot at his final resting place.
